Alex Geell was born in Santiago de Chile in 1976.
In 2005 he graduated as a Sound Engineer from the University of Chile and worked as an audio restorer, recording technician, live sound engineer, musician and teacher, founding the bands Tinnitus 1998 – 2000 and Palíndromo 2001 – 2009.
In 2009 he moved to Barcelona, Spain, where he studied postgraduate courses: Musical Composition and Contemporary Technologies at the UPF and the Master of Sound Art at the University of Barcelona.
During this period he founded the cultural association of Sound Art and experimental music 44Perills and the band Acid Popcorn. He works and exhibits his sound art installations and give guitar lessons in addition with his job as a free lance sound engineer (Posidonia Festival, Festa Major, Ecoforum, etc)
With the band Subfobias between 2011 and 2014 as a drummer he did European tours and many concerts in Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia, Germany and Belgium.
In 2016 he moves to Berlin, Germany, where he currently resides. Upon his arrival he works as audio technician for Martion Audiosysteme and later, founded the Neumond Berlin Project in 2019.
As a Drummer collaborates with different bands like Badecima and El Colectivo between 2017 and 2018. Then in 2021 release the album Gott Liebt Dunkel with the band Fäng.
Between 2021 and 2023 he studied Sound Design at the Wave Akademie. In 2024 he worked as music teacher at Mymusicschool and since 2025 as Drum Teacher at Barnim Musik Schule of Eberswalde
